Joining Oxfam in Great Britain as a volunteer in 1989, Alex has 25 years of experience in long-term development and humanitarian assistance, including leading programs in Vanuatu, the Philippines, Eastern Europe and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Commencing with Oxfam Australia in 2003, Alex has managed teams as a senior leader in Australia and in Vanuatu, as well as serving as the Associate Director for Strategy.
Alex is a respected humanitarian with sound experience and expertise in strategic leadership and people management across cultures, long-term development and humanitarian programming, high-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement, and gender and inclusivity.
